maui

maui is a special place i have been visiting as long as i can remember. each time i visit i am inspired by the abundance of natural beauty, warm water, smiling locals, peaceful lifestyle, culture, history and much more. one of my best friends that I met while we both were studying art at cal poly, grew up in this magical paradise. we got together to paint during my stay. we adventured, relaxed & painted under the sunshine and warm rain showers in our bikinis. the tropical storms during my visit led me to focus on the moody weather, exaggerating and emphasizing the clouds.
